The introductory weekends are designed for those new to our tradition. Participants will receive introductions to meditation and the teachings of the Buddha, as well as the history and characteristics of the Thai Forest Tradition, as well as all the practical aspects of a stay at Dhammapala Monastery.

The monastery is supported exclusively by donations and therefore does not charge fixed course fees. A donation of food at the beginning of the course and a monetary donation at the end of the course are gratefully accepted.
